The Villa des Houx is a hotel and restaurant housed in a Norman manoir dating from the end of the 19th century in Aumale which is on the very border of Normandy and Picardy equidistant from Amiens to the east and Rouen to the west and close to the main road from Calais and the northern ports to Rouen, Le Havre and beyond to Lower Normandy and Brittany.

The cuisine is traditional French but at the same time creative; fish is a speciality according to season and availability, but you may also find quail roasted in a salt crust (caille désossée en croute de sel) or foie gras with apricots.

There is a shady outside terrace for the enjoyment of your apéritif on summer evenings.

The restaurant represents excellent value for quality and service.

It is closed in January and on Sunday evenings from October 1st to March 15th.
