Motorists Beware!

Two new radar cameras have been installed at traffic lights in Seine Maritime. These, cameras which are relatively new in France are designed to take a photograph of anyone passing the lights at red. A fine and points penalty will of course follow! These latest two bring to four the total of traffic light cameras in service in Seine-Maritime.

The new cameras are at Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc near Le Havre and at Neuf-Marché just south of Gournay on the road to Gisors. The earlier two are at Le Havre and at Boos near Rouen. A total of eight such cameras are to be installed in the department by the end of this year and a further ten by the end of 2011.

The latest camera locations: 

Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc - crossing of the D6015, avenue de Lattre de Tassigny, and the D10, rue Robert Dubuc. 

Neuf-Marché - at the traffic lights on the D915, avenue Georges Heuillard.
