Description:
The Portsmouth to Le Havre ferry service operated by LD Lines has been changed due to strike action taking place at Le Havre on 27th May 2010. The service will operate between Portsmouth and Dieppe during the strike to ensure that passengers can still make the crossing.
The company has issued the following press release:
"Dear Customers,
The CGT Union in the Port of Le Havre have informed LD Lines of a local strike in addition to national action which will take place on Thursday 27th May 2010. It has therefore been decided to transfer our Le Havre traffic to Dieppe.

27th May ETD Dieppe 1915 ETA Portsmouth 2345
ETD Portsmouth 28th May 0100

ETD Dieppe 1630 ETA Portsmouth 1845
Passengers are requested to check in 90 minutes before departure time in order to prevent delays at the port. The company reserves the right to refuse any passenger who arrives later than 45 minutes before departure.
