Description:

The new tax on outdoor advertising has come into force across France. From now on all advertising panels larger than 7 square metres will be taxed.

Normandie FM has reported that in Alençon and its surrounding towns, a team of surveyors has already started the measure up to calculate the tax due.

All hoardings larger than the permitted 7 square metres will be taxed and in some towns at up to 120 Euros per square metre per year!

Does this mean we will soon see fewer advertising panels across Normandy?
