After a 10 weeks closure for renovation work to its runway, parking area and lighting, Deauville Airport is set to reopen for business on April 1^st.

Airport director, Desmond O'Flynn has set his sights on Deauville becoming the a key hub with regular flights to the UK and the rest of Europe. His plan is to increase annual passenger numbers from 25,000 five years ago to 300,000 by 2013.
