The unjustified cost of motoring ?

With the opening of the final section of the A88 motorway at the end of August, the journey time between Caen and Alençon has been reduced to just one hour.  But at what cost?  For the 100km journey car drivers must pay 9,60 €.  In fact this is the charge between Falaise and Alençon which is just 70km!  The section between Falaise and Caen is free.

The charge has been causing considerable annoyance for motorists. What do you think?
