Introduction

Golf Blue Green is an attractive golf course at Houlgate in the Calvados department of Lower Normandy.

 

Slightly inland from the coast, this hilly and picturesque course was originally designed by golfers Dave Thomas and Peter Allis. Many holes border water in the landscaped grounds of the Château de Beuzeva. Others are on a windswept ridge with fine views over the Channel.

 

There are many trees and hedges making off-fairway shots difficult and the careful use of irons a distinct advantage.
