Introduction
The regional natural parks were established to protect a region's natural and to promote its cultural traditions while managing natural resources in a way that maintains the diversity of flora and fauna and protects any sites that are either fragile or of exceptional quality.
The parks parks' objectives include the provision of tourism, cultural and educative opportunities while sensitising visitors to environmental issues. They are also a means of stimulating economic and social development through the support of businesses that respect the environment.
