Description:

The Pays de Bocage, Normandy is relatively unspoiled and has not been devastated by agricultural methods which involve hedgerow destruction.

It is a pretty, rural area in Lower Normandy to the south-west of Calvados and bordering on the Cotentin Peninsula of Manche.

There are grassy meadows, small woods, hedgerows all irrigated by small streams and rivers such as the Vire.

As a consequence picnics and rambles can be enjoyed in this area as well as gentle tours by car.
