Introduction

Deaville Saint Gatien Airport is at the heart of Normandy, 9km west of Deauville, 50km from Caen, 35km from Le Havre and 85km from Rouen.

The size of the airport and its facilities provide the traveller with many advantages, not least, the personal welcome, the simple check-in and the nearby parking.

The aiport offers flights to 26 destinations in 17 countries. Destinations for 2010 include: Crete, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Jordan, Madeira, Malta, Morocco, Senegal, Spain, Tunisia and the UK.

Flights from Deauville are largely operated by charter companies both for package holidays and flight only journeys. The airport does not offer any kind of ticket sales.

The airport is also open for private flights and this activity represents a significant part of its traffic.

New Air service to link Deauville and London

Starting on 24 June there will be a direct air link between Deauville-Saint Gatien and London City Airports.The four times a week return service will be operated by CityJet, part of  Air France and will continue until 27 September 2010.
