Mesnil Renovations are general builders in Normandy who are able to take on all types of building work from relatively small jobs to complete renovations.

Steve Hayward and Gino Sartori form the backbone of Mesnil Renovations. Steve is a carpenter and joiner by trade but also spent many years working in the UPVC market fitting windows, doors and conservatories. Gino, despite his name, is from Birmingham and has spent a lifetime in the building trade. He is a specialist wall and floor tiler and finisher par excellence.

Our in-house skills include carpentry, tiling and roofing. We can renovate your property completely or just parts of it according to your needs. We can add conservatories or install bathrooms, new windows and kitchens.

We can carry out complete renovations or conversions from the ground up, new roofs, kitchens & bathrooms, windows & doors, staircases, conservatories, wall & floor tiling, carpentry & joinery, plastering & rendering, concreting, patios, driveways, decking, walls, plasterboard, partitioning & insulation. We maintain close contacts with French artisans, like electricians and plumbers, for various aspects of the work.

We can also carry out the project management to ensure that the work meets your requirements. We often find that many of our customers are not yet full time in Normandy and we all know how difficult it is to project manage from a distance!

We are generally competitively priced but do not try to compete with the unlicensed cowboys who are likely to cut and run when they have your money! We can offer a range of references from our customers and are always happy to put prospective clients in touch with existing clients.
