La Maison de Sophie is both a home and an unusual and high quality B&B with Table d'Hote in the heart of Calvados, Lower Normandy. It is the home and brainchild of Sophie Dudemaine who is one of France's best known chefs and writers on cooking and preserving.

Sophie has written many books with recipes and and cooking techniques.

The B&B is housed in the exceptionally lovely old presbytry in the beautiful Pays d'Auge, not far from the wide and sandy beaches of Deauville and the Cote Fleurie of Calvados. It is also close to the 1944 Normandy invasion beaches.
