The Crannog is a real haven of peace and tranquility in the heart of the Calvados countryside,close to the River Touques and not far from the A28 with easy access to the Channel Ports. Crannog is open all year round for short or long term stays. It is a relaxing and comfortable hideaway for your ideal bed and breakfast break.

Our charming 19th farmhouse is set in its own grounds amid the pasture land of the Pays d’Auge region of Calvados,Lower Normandy , France.

Your hosts Léo and Resa originally from Ireland, welcome you into their home, which has been tastefully restored.

Our aim at Crannog is to make your stay as relaxed and interesting as possible.

Our 3 guest rooms are all bright, comfortable and have splendid views of the countryside. We offer tea/coffee facilities in each room. We have central heating in all rooms .

Child's bed available on request. Baby cot and high chair are available at no extra cost.

Our Dining room has an open red brick fireplace, original tiled floor and large oak dining table, where you will be served a healthy delicious breakfast or if preferred (weather permitting) breakfast can be served on the terrace.

A four course evening meal can be arranged, 24 hours notice necessary.

Private parking for 5 cars.
